Neil Armstrong

Neil Armstrong was born on August 5th, 1930. His love for flying started at a young age. He got his pilot´s license at the age of 15. His first job was as test pilot. It was a dangerous job but very exciting for him.

Armstrong applied to became an astronaut and in September of 1962, he was selected for the NASA.

He participated on several trips but the most important trip was on December of 1962 into the Apollo 11. He was the first man landing on the Moon. Armstrong was the first to leave the craft and walk on the Moon.

Then, he worked as a professor of aereospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
